Retaining Wall Excavation in Eastern Idaho

Excavation and prep for retaining walls, including concrete wall installs.

A retaining wall is only as stable as the ground work under it. Spring Creek Builds excavates for retaining walls in eastern Idaho and prepares the site for the wall crew.

Excavation for Retaining Walls

We do the excavation for a lot of retaining walls. Many of the walls built in this area are concrete, since concrete walls go up quickly and are strong, and those walls start with correct excavation. We dig and prep the site so the wall crew starts with a good base.

Walls We Have Built

We have also built a few retaining walls ourselves. Our main role is the excavation, so if you want us on the dirt work and another crew on the wall, that is a normal way to split the job.

Retaining Walls With Other Site Work

Retaining walls often go along with grading, a driveway, or a foundation on a sloped lot. We can plan the excavation with those in mind. See our grading and driveways and foundation site prep pages.

Before You Reach Out

Tell us where the wall will go and what you plan to build. Send what you know through the contact form. Idaho law asks excavators to contact Idaho's one-call center by calling 811 at least two business days before digging, so underground utilities get marked first.

Where We Work

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you build retaining walls?

We do the excavation for retaining walls, and we have built a few ourselves. Many walls here are concrete, and we prep the site for the wall crew.

Can you combine retaining wall work with grading?

Yes. Grading, driveways, and retaining walls often go together on a sloped lot, and we can plan them as one project.
