Spring Creek Builds is an excavation and septic company in eastern Idaho. The work we do most is excavation for new home builds, and we work with general contractors, developers, and homeowners. We dig foundations, run the utilities, connect homes to city sewer or install septic systems, build driveways, and prep the site for whatever comes next.
The business started with excavation work for several different contractors, and it grew from there as general contractors brought us more work. Septic installation and replacement are a growing part of what we do, and the kind of project we want to take on more.
We serve Teton, Madison, Jefferson, Bonneville, and Bingham Counties.
An equipment operator who still runs the work
Justin started out on his uncle's farm as a teenager. He graduated high school early and went to work on a union job, where he ran an excavator on a large pipeline. After that, he spent about 15 years in the field with the Operating Engineers, working on excavation jobs around Washington, Idaho, and other places.
He then went back to college and spent more than 20 years working in IT. Eventually he wanted to be back out in the field instead of in front of a screen. For the last five years he has been excavating new home sites and home utilities.
What sets him apart, in his own words, is that he cares about how the work is done. He wants the customer to get exactly what they are after, and he wants the work to meet the requirements of the permits and inspections. If a job needs more hours or another day to be done right, he would rather spend the time.
